Orders received before 2pm are usually processed the same day, subject to stock availability. If your order is critical for Next Day delivery, please call us to confirm your order has been received. Next Day Delivery to UK Highlands & Islands (as defined by our carriers) and Northern Ireland cannot be guaranteed, even if you specify that on your order. Any Free Shipping offers do not apply to non-Mainland UK. We attempt to balance our shipping costs to provide a reasonably priced service for normal size items, but reserve the right to request additional costs for especially bulky or heavy shipments. If other suppliers charge much more than us to your country, then our carriers will and we cannot subsidise delivery costs.

Shipments outside the UK, post-Brexit (1 January 2021) may incur local VAT, customs or handling charges which we have no control over. Our prices do not include these charges. Refusal to pay them results in goods being returned to us, at our expense for the return journey. Costs of this will be deducted from refunds if customers have refused to pay those charges. Since 1 July 2021 we cannot send orders to EU countries of less than Euro150 without charging the end private customer their local rate of VAT.  We then have to register with each EU countries VAT authorities and fill in lots of forms, then remit the VAT to them. It’s a facility no small company can manage alone and fees to have someone do it for you start at £6,000 a year.  So we can only export to EU customers if they are a VATregistered business or if it’s a consumer order where the value is Euro 150+.
