Although it says it water resistant, it is'nt. I bought one after reading the reviews here thinking it would protect my car but it is utterly useless in rain.
Do not buy this product if you want a waterproof cover. A waste of money.

It will resist showers but heavy and prolonged rain will result in a film of clean, filtered water on the vehicle which will breathe out again when the rain stops. It will protect your car from snow, frost, birds, tree sap, industrial fallout, blown dust, cats, scrapes, berries and leaves, but it is indeed a waste of money if you want a waterproof cover, which it never claims to be.]

I bought the cover to protect the paintwork of my Volvo S60 mainly from the birds and local cats which insisted on sleeping on the bonnet of my previous car. The Maypole has performed brilliantly as the bird droppings don't penetrate the material and the cats don't appear to like the feel of it. The rain seems to form droplets which just run off. The cover is very light and easy to fit and rolls up into its bag when not in use. It was delivered very quickly and communication with the Company was very good. I would recommend this product which represents excellent value for its cost.

This car cover does the job well, it keeps the rain, bird droppings, and debris of my car well, it is made of a decent quality material that feels pretty durable, and should last a good while. Fits well, and comes with ties to keep it on during strong winds. Great cover!
