X-Dry Absorption Dehumidifier - Description
Superb new reliable dehumidifier for extended unattended use for car storage and other applications. Auto power restart & continuous drain, low running costs and wide temperature band usage make it a great choice.
If you require a little more power than the DD-122, its little brother, to dry out your garage or home quicker, this is the machine. We have run one faultlessly in our warehjouse for over 2 years and it draws huge volumes of water from the air and switches itself off when humidity falls.
Installation is simple - remove it from the box, press 'Auto' and its working. For additional ease, push the drain hose (supplied) through the wall and with the auto-restart, you can forget about it.

I have purchased this dehumidifier to install it in a garage in Switzerland where the temperature approaches 0C in the wintertime. Under such circumstances the efficiency of the device drops significantly and does not approach the 10l per day advertised and is more like 2 to 3 L per day. Provided it is kept at full blast, the unit is still capable of maintaining a humidity level of approximately 55% in a two car garage despite cars coming in an out of the garage with lots of snow packed in their fenders and creating puddles on the floor. The cars are noticeably drier as they used to be wet at all times but it takes a while for the floor to get dry. I would still recommend this device as I am sure that under more normal circumstances in the UK it would work close to the advertised figures and could be used with less power. I am ordering a new one to locate in my basement where the temperature is more in the normal range.
