my 5 year old accumate is still working well, but I needed a second charger,excellent product and perfect service with next day delivery.
Swallow Need Battery conditioners

I have a house in South Africa and one in the UK. I have one car in South Africa and two in the UK. The locals in South Africa refer to me and my family as 'swallows' as we fly backwards and forwards according to the season and the weather, spending about 6 summer months of the year in each country. Obviously with three cars which are not running for six months of the year but needing to leave them with alarms set and clocks running as well as avoiding radio recoding if the battery goes flat, keeping the batteries in good condition is an issue. I have three AccuMate devices that I connect up to my cars acording to which country I am in and it is totally satisfying to know that whenever and whichever car I get into after an 11 hour flight it will actually have a fully topped up battery and will actually start. Being aware of my experience and satisfaction, a number of people who, like me, have houses in South Africa have purchased an AccuMate battery conditioner as a reult of them either having flat batteries or having to disconnect them when they leave, with all the problems that entails.

Bought an Accumate in1999 and it has finally packed
up in April 2008 ! Eight years use before it failed,can`t
be bad!

I love this product; can't tell you how much I love it but I do, mainly because I've just been out in my Caterham for the day and for the first time ever didn't have to use a charger!
I love it...buy one...and buy one for someone you love, it was valentines day this week after all!!

I now have five of these Accumate gizmos: Two in UK, one in KL, one in Phuket and one in London. Now, when I move between offices, no longer is my first task to deal with flat car batteries. This allows me to proceed straight to the local cocktail bar: a most satisfactory outcome. Thank you Vertar!
One idea: Why not offer bulk packs of, say, five products at a discount? Many people, especially collectors, have several little-used vehicles.

As the title says - I bought one for the TVR for over wintering, was lucky enough to be given a Lotus so bought one for that too - if you've got the best why look for something else.

This is a great product very easy to use, I fitted this without the hubby's help and he says I'm blonde !!!
This is small and compact very good clear instructions, this is one for the ladies. This is great for the price as it does all batteries and most chargers will not do gel, so this is a great all in one to have.

Ordered above plus wall bracket and accessory plug lead, delivered within 24 hours. Connected them up and within the next 24 hours it appears my flat battery problems are a thing of the past. Thanks Verta, great product.

Ordered this a couple of days ago, arrived in double-quick time.
Opened the box, read the concise and easy-to-understand instructions; plugged the charger in, connected dead battery, sat back and relaxed for 12 hours. Came back and the battery was charged!!
No fuss, no complicated buttons & switches to worry about, plenty of idiot-proofing, just plug in and forget about it.

I have a classic car that stays in storage and gets started maybe twice a year. The battery would always be flat and unrecoverable at every six-monthly attempt to turn the engine over.
The Accumate 6/12 keeps the battery at full charge, and is connected all the time I am not using the car. For the cost of one new battery, I'm very pleased. Great product, does exactly what it says it will do. If you have a classic car in storage and need to keep the battery charged and ready to go, this is the product.

Bought one of these about two weeks ago after regularly being stumped by a flat battery in my 'weekend toy' on the sunny days precisely when I wanted to use it most. It is now great knowing that I can rely on the battery being fully charged whenever I want to use my car on a sunny summer day (quite rare nowadays!).

Perfect piece of kit that has sorted the flat battery problem on a vehicle that is not used very much. Now when i want to use it i know the battery will be able to start it. Highly recommended.

I have always had the problem with low or flat battries in the winter months for my classic bikes. I need the 6/12 volt charger for my bikes, After purchasing the Accmate i have found that i have never had low or flat battery, the light indicators are very clear and the 6/12 volt switch is easy to use, the best charger that i have ever purchased, i know were to go if ever i need a replacement.
