Losing these 2 expensive componets saves you £40 yet does not affect results in non-domestic usage. Up to 80% less energy consumption It has been standard within the industry for desiccant dehumidifiers to always run their fan continuously, regardless of the relative humidity. They do this so that they can react to rises in relative humidity and start to dry the air again. This provides a level of accurate dehumidification that is overkill for domestic applications. The alternative provided by most compressor dehumidifiers is for the dehumidifier to turn off when the relative humidity target is reached. This saves energy but does mean that the dehumidifier potentially misses increases in relative humidity and could allow organic materials in the home to absorb the excess moisture and mould to grow. The aim has to be energy saving and accurate dehumidification combined The Meaco DD8L Junior provides the best possible solution. When the target relative humidity is reached it runs its fan for 5 minutes to check that all is OK and then it turns itself off to save energy. Thirty minutes later it turns its fan back on and samples the air again for 5 more minutes. If the relative humidity has increased above its target it starts dehumidifying again, if the relative humidity is OK it goes back to sleep again for another 30 minutes. In a well sealed home this will mean that the fan will run for just 10 minutes an hour instead of 60, using just 1/6th of the power of other desiccant dehumidifiers. The above is the perfect balance between protecting your environment and keeping costs to a minimum. The Meaco DD8L Junior (launched in November 2011) will become one of our best selling dehumidifiers because; It is great in a flat – very quiet, can dry laundry, very light and quiet. Please note that all energy consumed by the dehumidifier will be returned to the room as heat and as this is a winter product that is a good thing and is certainly not a waste of energy consumption. The DD8L Junior has a Laundry mode to dry your washing faster and to prevent the water from the clothes from doing any damage around the home. A small point that our customers tell us is very important is that the DD8L Junior allows you to select a quiet fan speed independent of the relative humidity that you might wish to select. This ensures that the DD8L Junior will stay in quiet mode whenever you want absolute quiet, for example at night. But many customers wanted a domestic unit... So we're very happy to commend this 20 litres per day machine for heated environments like homes and offices where its superb. Its incredibly quiet, small, lightweight and powerful. Its the big brother of the Meaco 10L, but based on a major Japanese electronics companys' design, with double the output of condensate i.e airbourne water. The warmed air is blown back into the room both dryer and warmer. The excess water is collected inside the dehumidifiers internal container. When this is full the dehumidifier automatically turns off to prevent spillage. Of course other places like DIY stores sell dehumidifiers but they tend to be cheaply made and have knobs, not neat one-touch electronic pressure pads. And they're often not as good looking as these too. Plus their staff don't actually know very much about them ! So feel free to call and and tap into our experience.

The system uses valve-cap sensors to transmit accurate pressure and temperature data from your tyres. Cornering, steering, road-holding, fuel use and tyre wear all critically rely on four small patches of rubber in contact with the road, so serious attention to tyre pressures pays off in regular road use as well as in race performance. The system continuously displays pressure for each tyre and gives a leak alarm and alerts for low pressure. For performance users, tyre temperature can be displayed by pushing a button, and there are high pressure and high temperature alerts. Alert thresholds are all adjustable from the default settings. Installation is quick and easy. Just screw the sensors onto the tyres in place of standard valve caps and fit the anti-theft collars if required. Warranties are available for periods of 1, 2, 3 or 4 years in addition to the existing 12 month warranty already provided. This covers parts and labour. The warranty does not include accidental damage and we do ask that you keep the filter clean - if the dehumidifier is full of dirt then this invalidates its warranty. The two things that are most likely to cause the dehumidifier to fail - one, not cleaning the filter and two, placing the dehumidifier too close to a wall so that the air inlet is blocked and not enough air is getting through the dehumidifier. If you keep an eye on these two things Meaco will cover the rest. If you should have a problem then please call our customer service team on Freecall 0500 418458 with details of the fault. This is not our phone number but direct to the engineers. You will be asked to box the dehumidifier up, we will arrange for a courier to collect and then we will service your dehumidifier, bringing it up to current manufacturing specifications, test it and return it to you.
