Simply connect the 8.4mm eyelets to the battery terminal and one of 3 LEDs will light to tell you if the battery is fine (green), could do with a charge soon (amber) or needs a charge now (red). Very handy indeed !

CTEK COMFORT INDICATOR

I have recently purchased two of these Comfort indicators,one for the wifes car a 1.6 Renault Modus and one for mine a Mercedes S320,which has a 95amh battery.I assumed that once the batteries were fully charged the traffic light system on the indicators would show Green ( charge not necessary ) for at least 2/3 weeks if the car was not used and slightly longer if the car was in use. With neither car in use and no lights,central locking ect in operation the Green light only remains on for approximatey 9hrs then the Orange light comes on ( charge recommended ) as this light doesnt give any indication of when a charge is necessary I will now remove my indicators and connect the charger XS7000 every 10 days.
